Rock Climbing in Schools

We offer a wide range of builds to suit all budgets and requirements.

Traverse Walls

Traverse Walls- Low level climbing, which allows large numbers of children to climb at the same time. Very cost effective. Number of holds can be varied to suit budget. Suitable for all ages. Children cannot climb more than 40cm off the ground so matting and direct supervision is not necessary. Additional features can be added  for added interest. Great for teaching movement skills to full classes.

Bouldering Walls

Bouldering walls- Relatively low level climbing which is un-roped. Generally 3-4m in height. Allows for more upward movements as well as traversing. Increased height requires matting to be fitted. Complex shapes can be created to increase interest and difficulty. Allows more flexibility for the range of movements that can be taught.

Top Roping Walls

Top roping walls- Roped climbing, which can be either on the inside or outside of a school building. Can be built as high as your building will allow. Give participants the full climbing experience. School staff can be trained and assessed to be able to safely run a roped climbing session.

Free Standing Walls

Free standing walls- Where there is no space on an existing school building for a traverse wall, a free-standing structure can be created. This type of wall can be built in a variety of shapes and sizes, utilising both sides of the wall to double the climbing area
